Phil Briggs FRSA DMS MBA ACIB

 

Phil is the founding Director of Emerald Acorn in 2000 and specialises in researching, consulting and teaching in the area of Leadership and Management Development. He worked in the financial service industry for over 20 years, the last 8 of which focused on management development. Before forming Emerald Acorn, Phil had responsibility for leadership and management development for the NatWest Group, where he helped to introduce a structured management development programme for the Group.

 

Phil has also studied and taught in the academic world, particularly teaching management programmes. Continuing his studies, he is half-way through an MSc in Psychology (which he seems to be taking a very long time to complete…...).

 

A keen sportsman before the knees gave up, when time allows, Phil coaches rugby and is a specialist strength coach for a number of different sports.

 

Nick Jackson MCIPD

 

Nick has worked with Emerald Acorn and since it’s inception. Has 17 years experience in training gained in the financial services sector and as a freelance trainer. His background was in needs analysis, design and validation but is now primarily a learning materials designer and facilitator.

 

His expertise is in delivering management skills programmes and it it in this area that he has been specializing for most of the past 15 years.

 

Nick skis, plays golf and enjoys improving his Swahili.
